Garbage breakfast is the GOAT at Jimmy's Egg

Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, Black Bear Diner are all way better choices.
Stay in the Big 12 if you think Denny’s is better than WH

bitch waitresses would rather talk on their phones than bring you anything. At WH they’re all on meth and right there so they can’t hide

IHOP isn’t bad though. Pancakes are awesome but I find Waffle House to have better overall food across the menu

Just hit the IHOP. Damn close to the same as Waffle House.

don’t think you understand what that place means to the south. Don’t know all of those Midwestern places but Waffle House is open 24-7/365. It is always there…All these SEC boys used to hit at 2 AM.
You haven’t lived until a toothless methhead skank offers you a BJ at 3am at Waffle House in front of your gf and you tell her to frick off and she goes irate and you drunkenly throw your bowl of grits in her face, and she tries to square off with you in the parking lot.
Yes, this happened to me

Sonic was good in the 70's but has gone way downhill since. Used to be in small towns with one at each end so you can cruise Main Street now they are in big cities and have inside dining.

Here's the problem.
Plenty small town Sonics are still good. All about who's working in there.
I'll make it a point to only stop in the small town 30 mins away from me. I know it'll be hot and fresh every time.

There aren't many of them, and I have only eaten at a couple of them. Almost just like waffle house, some things might have been a little better than waffle house.

Here's what I'll say...Waffle House is truly the breakfast place of the SEC. I love Waffle House for what it is...
That being said, I'm not a fan of running down Cracker Barrel, either. I remember as a kid traveling from Knoxville to Florida...Cracker Barrels were the mainstay for our trip (in the 70s, Cracker Barrels were primarily along I-75). I traveled for work to Phoenix about a decade back, and the guys wanted to meet for breakfast. They said, there's a restaurant over here you're going to love. The breakfast is awesome. Yep...it was a Cracker Barrel. I acted like I was impressed, even though I've been eating at Cracker Barrels since about 1972 or so (at the one they opened in Caryville, TN in 1970).
Waffle House is awesome...and anyone who denies it is a liar, an idiot or both. But Cracker Barrel is much better than Bob Evans. I'll meet anyone at Sonic who says otherwise.

Denny’s is basic but has good variety. I’ve never had a bad experience. Waffle House I’ve tried a few times in different years the last five years and it’s the same blah experience. Maybe the tastes are different in the south? I don’t know.

I've only been in a Bob Evans once, that was in Toledo, Oh. In 2002. They didn't even know what biscuits and gravy were.
