Lane has historically pushed the envelope in an effort to force change in areas where he thinks changes need to be made i.e. fake injuries.

He doesn't need to do anything. He's mega rich. Just like his predecessor, he will coast until he's fired.

Death penalty for what? This is the system of college football at the moment. Until specific guidelines / rules are established and agreed upon players can do what they want.

Can you prove LSU made contact with Demond after he was under contract?

The NCAA has zero enforcement powers any more. It's scared to death over even a sniff of lawsuits. Agents / attys are now running college sports. O.Miss has allowed LSU coaches to be in its athletic dept. surrounded by its players. Do you really think former LSU RB coach Frank Wilson, now employed by O. Miss, has not been talking to some of his former LSU players?

I never see the Gator Chomp any more. No more Tebow's walking into the locker room.

Meh I don't think anyone will do anything about tampering yet.. NCAA is scared Big 10 & SEC will form their own league and maybe take a few schools/ conferences with them..
Everyone tampers it's only an issue if the player leaves.
LSU has enough on their plate right now with all the losses on O line your not going to fix that even with the portal and it's not just about getting good players you have to have depth for injuries...you can't coach around that in the SEC too many good teams. I think Kiffin underestimated the current players and Golding. Things are looking good for Ole Miss next year IF they get Chambliss back and some people think that's become a very good possibility..the defensive players the just signed in the portal give the defense an upgrade add some more pieces on offense and they will make another run at a national championship next year.

Hey dummy, Oregon blew the lid off the Demond debacle, and LSU is one of many teams to jump in. Tampering accusations are the equivalent of "I'm taking my ball and going home!"

Stop being such a puss and get mad at the NCAA for creating this shite show.

Sorry Lane told Florida to frick OFF and y'all had to settle for G5 Johnny.
Would’ve happened if lsu didn’t open up. He would’ve stayed at Ole Miss in that instance.

There are not enough tampons for all these SEC fans in here with nothing but LSU on their brains.

It would appear as if many fan bases on the Rant are concentrating on LSU/Kiffin.

That said, LSU is being stretched thin by concentrating on Alabama, Texas A&M and now Ole Miss.

Never fear, though, because with NIL negotiations heating up there will be a new batch of cars arriving in Athens and our players will be warming up their engines in anticipation of the off season. Then the whole Rant will be able to turn their attentions back to Georgia and fast driving.

already done last year by Miami when they "stole" the Wisconsin player...so that was the precedent.
