I wound understand this if it was 'it's a God thing' Chizik. But have not seen this about Gus? I know his wife spoke at a religious event (Gus shut up parody), but Gus is a football coach.

America in the sense of Americans, is the greatest country on Earth. However, our society has become increasingly secular. Look at Babylon in the book of Daniel. When the king believed himself to be sufficient in running the country himself, then Babylon crumbled. When God was consulted, the kingdom was rebuilt.
