If Florida State could’ve pulled off the miracle, the AP or Coaches Poll could’ve made an argument for FSU.

Georgia was without their Starting ILB, they loss their Starting RT in the 1st half. Brock was at 70% at best and Ladd was trying to make a go of it with a body that was fighting compounding injuries.

The Playoff committee knew for a fact that Georgia would be an entirely different animal with 30 plus days to recover. And let’s be honest… a 3 peat would not have been a good thing for college football.

Remember, UGA basically had nothing left in the tank and loss to Bama by 3 points.

My GOD what a team Kirby has built

Wasn’t such a thing as a split title in 03 either.

Really? Kind of like Bama in 2021. Injuries cost us.

You had a shot at the playoffs though when you probably shouldn’t have

I can't imagine they're not #2 to the #1.

They're a relentless eating machine.

In ‘21? Bama whipped UGA like a yard dog in the SEC championship. You were lucky to be in the playoffs that year

Only reason Georgia got the win over Bama three years ago because Bama had their best playmakers out. You got run out of the stadium.

FSU was #4 in the AP poll. If every team in the CFP poll has one loss when it’s all said and done UgA could well be #1 in the AP poll. It’d be as legit as any AP natty

Going to beat a top 5 team by 70, only loss is to the SEC champion by a field goal, arguably should've been top 4 and in the playoffs. We should see them get some #1 votes depending on how the playoffs shake out

And by playoff committee logic on player availability, Alabama’s win vs UGa with their top offensive weapon limited shouldn’t fully count.
