Does Florida have no shame?

Continuing to employ Billy Napier at this juncture is beyond reprehensible. Everyone knows he isn't qualified to coach Pop Warner, let alone big time SEC football, yet UF continues to trot him out like a lamb to slaughter. When are they going to turn things around in Gainseville and get back to their usual 9-3 ways?

What a revelation, why didn't anyone think of this months ago? Genius post is genius.

It'll be fifteen or twenty years before UF gets things turned around, at the earliest.
They'll go thru a few coaches along the way.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of jort wearing arse rings

I hope they renew his contract.

They have prolly the hardest schedule in the country this year. You do not want to fire him and bring in a first year HC with this type of schedule with little recruiting time. So let him suck this year and take a beating, and then fire him mid season, and play rest of season with an interim coach and this will allow you time to find a coach. Next year coach will have a first year schedule not as hard as this year.

I am expressing gratitude for Coach Napier's continued employment with the Gators and acknowledging his excellent work. It's great to hear that he is making a positive impact. Hoping he continues to be at Florida for many more years to come!

Just flip home and away for conference game, fsu, and Miami.
Main difference is we play usf instead of UCF and tbh, Golesh at usf is a beast and might be a bit harder than UCF at the moment

Honestly I’m surprised how bad Napier has been at Florida. I was genuinely worried LSU passed on such a young promising coach down the road with his reputation. Yet Florida not only loses but always looks so incompetent and poorly coached.
Seems like he’s recruiting pretty well (could still be way better) but surprised how terrible the coaching has been.

He’s too blunt and honest and won’t kiss boosters asses or be their yes man
Plus ole Miss is a better program than Florida now in the NIL era so I don’t think he would take it even if offered

I don’t understand how Florida’s alumni base isn’t aligned with the athletic department given Florida’s run in athletics the past few decades. It’s such a good school (unquestionably better than LSU) but LSU alums and fans seem to have a lot more financial commitment. Not to mention Florida has had a massive student body longer than many SEC schools.
What gives? No offense but hopeful Florida continues to not figure it out
wild it took Florida until the 80s to make it in football.

Spurrier was the same way so why wouldn't Lane fit again?

LSU sure brings up 3 loss teams as some kind of SEC standard lately. Maybe Brian Kelly's ceiling is finally setting in.
