Private individuals and sometimes a group of individuals. Maybe even corporations.

Ok, now show proof Alabama is buying cars.

Cost-of-Attendance Stipends can easily cover monthly payments for a used Dodge Charger or Challenger ("official" vehicle of the Crimson Tide), even without a trade-in. Here’s what Big 12, SEC athletic departments paid in cost of attendance stipends. So, it's actually easy for any player at a big school to legitimately get a fairly nice ride once they're enrolled. Also, Alabama's Compliance Dept. documents the ownership, source(s) of funding, etc. for all vehicles driven by student athletes.

Just because a kid tweets a photo of himself standing by a $50k car doesn't mean it's his car. How about photos with handfuls of cash -- are they $100 or $1 bills? Kids do kid things, like posting those kinds of photos. The NCAA probably investigates those kinds of things, if/when alerted to them. Also, if the school's compliance dept. doesn't check those things out and deal with them properly, they're not doing their job.

Or, you can just believe the "fake news" and "conspiracy" bullcrap that's based on such photos -- if that's what you want to believe.

I've always understood that it's a single dealership owned by a REC member. So no booster to worry about, the REC membership is super tight and loyal.

We shop the rebates first. If the deals still need work the REC owns six dealerships in AL, MS and LA.

Do they spread the love around or is there a certain dealership used for the chargers. What dealership and who owns it?

There were rumors that a booster was caught in a Federal Investigation concerning Auto Titles and money laundering in Alabama. Some of the cars involved supposedly were Bama Rides. I know the first part to be true, haven't heard anything on the second part lately.

Every student athlete vehicle gets registered with compliance. This includes ownership info and/or whose name any note is in.

This. What Bama has is a compliance department that all others should be envious of. This was all instituted by Saban when he came in and he is a mo-fo about it. Is what they do technically cheating? Maybe. But if you know the rules and you have guys on staff who understand the rules and the loopholes, then it's really not from a letter of the rules standpoint.

Personally, I don't see why any dealership would extend credit to an 18 year old on a 30,000.00+ vehicle at market rates.

First of all, dealerships don't finance vehicles (exc. buy here/pay here clunker cars). They sell the contracts to various lending institutions and make profit on the difference in the interest rate and the discounted rate the bank gives the dealer. In rare cases, there are a few dealers who may very infrequently have to guarantee a contract that it sells its lending source. Lending institutions don't have to accept a contract if they aren't satisfied with the customer or the terms. Any employee of the lender could see if there was a guarantee from the dealer, so there is no way to "hide" the guarantee of the contract.
Bottom line, a dealer wouldn't/couldn't put an individual in a vehicle and control the financing without any and every employee of the lending institution being able to find out about it, EASILY.
Talk to an automobile professional before you jump to errant conclusions.

I think the REC owns the space inside your head and rents it out to the preferred dealership.
