I am old but it used to be considered very good. It has been bad now for at least a decade if not more and is getting to be a bad joke.
In the Nationally televised Bama LSU game which is one of biggest SEC games of the year, it was either equally bad or pro bama bad depending on your point of view. It was very bad in Ole Miss Bama, and several other big TV games this year. A lot of callers and analyst are talking about it on sports talk, radio, etc.
Why is there not an effort to fix this? What the hell in going on in Birmingham? How can we not have good officiating in the richest league in football.

No it's not good. But the ideas that you think it happened in the last 10 years means you are full of shite. It was the same officials 10 years ago.

We need to add another official.

I think it's more the quality and number of cameras has improved, it's so much easier and quicker to slow down footage and pick out everything they are doing wrong.

They missed the face mask call, but we didnt get any other calls, and in fact were on the bad end of a few questionable, game changing calls.

Go start an Officiating school and make lots of money of you think you can do a better job...or just keep bitching about it.

Please tell us what led you to make this post today? Is there a particular game or play that finally pushed you over the top to where you had to speak out on the subject?

I think losing teams whine about officiating.

No- almost every week there's a thread on officiating sucking.

None more than LSU fans though. The last two days have been quite the eye opener. Serious butt hurt cry babies.

No no no No, those don't count. Only the ones that favor Bama count and are bad calls.
