I dunno. The entire place was underwhelming to me and the campus was small. And the place was not that walkable as a college town in general.

It was much smaller and more spread out than i imagined at the same time. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere and walking from that shitty little campus to reach anywhere with good food or shopping or whatnot felt like a major ordeal.

The campus just felt like a tiny little unorganized shite hole and the town itself was extremely meh. Your typical middle of nowhere Georgia type of town. I'd rather even be in Atlanta next time to visit Georgia than that hell hole. At least Atlanta has stuff to do.

I just had this feeling upon leaving Athens of thank god. Back to civilization. Knoxville is X1000 the city and campus. It's not even comparable. So much prettier too with the smokeys in the background and our majestic river.

I noticed the people in Georgia are getting uglier on average lately as well. It must be something in your water.

And Sanford Stadium. Lmao. It felt more like going to a braves game than it did the "biggest CFB game of the year."

The stands aren't high enough and has too many openings. Those decibal readings on its shitty jumbotron are bogus as well. It was reading 120 whe the crowd was just sitting there at various points then would sometimes go lower as they got louder. The truth is it was not very loud there and certainly not hostile. Your entire stadium looks small when you are on field level.

That's probably my last time ever in nowheresville i mean Athens. People here gave me shite for staying in Winder, but what's the freakin difference? Athens is a middle of nowhere shithole covered in hideous China red.

I'm not a fan, but at least Auburn has toomer's corner a very short walk up from Jordan Hare. In Athens, you are just stuck in that shitty little hilly area of nothing but college buildings.

Oh, and Winder is about 1000 times more developed than Knoxville.

Knoxville is everything that north Georgia wishes it was.

The ONLY place in Georgia I'd live is the blueridge mountain area in north Georgia or down near west point lake in the troup county area.

Those are the only nice places i have been there. Atlanta is a cess pool. Savannah is highly overrated.

And Athens is just extremely meh.

Keep this promise and you'll make everyone happy.
Athens is objectively one of the nicest college towns in the entire U.S. It doesn't exist to make trolls like you happy.
Have you changed your diaper yet?

A game weekend in Athens in the 80's-'90's was always an awesome experience no matter the outcome of the game. Knoxvile was dirty then and dirty now. Unless your idea of music is Country Rap, it's a day trip.
