I never said anything to the contrary. Someone had to win the Big 12. Texas was down for a decade, so of course it was going to be OU. I'm happy to admit they were the tallest midget 2010-2020
In the last 55 years...The OU/Texas series is 30-22-3 in favor of OU.

His name was Red McCombs.
I will say that it is interesting that it was about the time that Red got really heavily involved and high profile with Texas football that we started hearing about boosters being "the problem".
Here are some of the other reasons I've heard as reasons that Texas hasn't been dominant....
1) Bad coaching hires.
2) Bad QB selections in recruiting/recruiting the wrong blue chips
3) Austin is too big a party scene
4) Players are too pampered
5) Program is too soft
6) U Texas is too tough academically for jocks
and the most recent enduring reason...
Austin is "too woke" to have a good football team.
Been hearing that one for about a decade now.

Definitely numbers 1 and 2. The others are just stupid.

You just keep responding with the same material over and over.
What can I say - it’s hilarious watching you jealous wannabes squirm when faced with facts that you can’t refute

Do you ever have an actual opinion on the topic being discussed? Or is your total self-worth dependent on how well you think you troll A&M fans on Secrant?
Talk about a pathetic life.

I don’t think any Longhorn fan would argue with anyone about not performing up to expectations based on resources. Yet most of us would also say we like where we are and where we are headed. Also it is an honor to be in a position to have the expectations that are put on The University of Texas. Nobody would have that conversation about Vandy the school of the original poster. If you make a bowl game you exceeded expectations. Consider the list of schools that would be high-fived for finishing in the top ten. We have the expectations in all sports. We like where we are at as a blue blood which is clear that we are based on the expectations and animosity. Tennessee was on cloud nine to win the CWS. We expect to play for championships. I that sport we have been to Omaha more times than most programs have made a regional. Watch PGA golf on Sunday and see who the number one golfer in the world reps. Check the Olympics and medal counts by school. Stanford had an incredible showing. The only other school to win the Directors Cup. The expectations and attention are genuinely a compliment regardless of intentions. I am looking forward to how things shake out as we continue to compete in the SEC. I say continue because we had solid wins against the cream of the conference. And played a historically good LSU team to the final play. Actually we were really close to sweeping the face of the SEC in Alabama. Give Bryce Young all the credit in the world for the come back. Looking forward to see this conference excel as a whole as CFB continues to evolve.
can you get your boosters to buy a few paragraphs ?

Here's the stage that everybody likes to set for Texas:
1) if you win it all - well then you should have.
2) if you don't - you should have and so you suck.

Some truth to this. Ohio State has a huge slime budget, reels in top in state and even far out of state talent. They should be a top team every year on paper but somehow manage to exit first round of the playoffs.
Ohio State has twice as many championships in the 21st century. Also, Ohio state usually wins all their games and gets exposed in big time playoff or championship games. Texas simply fails to beat Kansas and goes 7-5. There’s a difference there.

It wasn't long ago that Texas one year had zero players drafted.
