Four hours of live TV every weekday is really hard. If it wasn't for Finebaum, the SEC Network during the day would be nothing but replays of shows and old games.
I guess some people here don't like the show because they're way too self-consious about how other people perceive the South, but in reality who really fricking cares. There are hicks and an underclass in every part of the country.
Finebaum interviews all of the different team beat writers and national writers and it's a decent way to get your football fix during the day.

Paul finebaum is danny kannel for old people, he just peddles a product with more brand loyalty.

I listen sometimes on Fridays. They talk about the games instead of listening to morons yell at each other all afternoon.

Finebaum is to sports talk what Waffle House is to the south.
It’s always there, and contains a collection of the unhealthiest and most dysfunctional Americans ever assembled.

I turn it on sometimes and end up turning it off. He was better when it was nothing but Alabama and Auburn fans. Shane vs Bobby, Jim vs IMan. Phyllis vs BOB. Not to mention being involved in going after the NCAA and shitting on Fulmer daily.
The early 2000s on Finebaum was a clinic and I hate today’s product will define him.

What is it you do for a living that allows you to watch 4 hours of Finebaum every weekday?
When it was just a radio show, it would be playing in the background of every mechanic shop floor and out of the dashboard of delivery drivers and at construction sites all over Alabama and parts beyond. So I can see how people could still work and listen.
When it's a TV show, 4 hours a day, wow. How do you have time to follow it?

Finebaum doesn’t understand football he just knows the final score. Anyone could do his job.

I used to listen to the back half of the show on my drive home from work about 20 years ago. I haven't listened to or watched his show in years.

He makes money playing off the IQ's in the shallowest end of the gene pool. But hey, this is 'Merica, where we make stupid, millionaires.

I watched him this week when Dylan Sampson was on there. I didn't realize his ears were so big.

I heard about 30 seconds the other day. My God that was some backwoods, trailer trash sounding hollering. I grew up in Tennessee and never heard anyone talk like that, not even UT fans.

No. My morning sports radio fix is all Kentucky related. Tom Leach, KSR, Alan Cutler.
Afternoon and evening I pull up Cincinnati sports radio and get my Reds and Bengals stuff.

His show would be watchable if there were no callers.
