I've said it a bunch here, but the only opening that would concern me is Michigan State.

I don't think him saying he and his family like it here is BS. But does he like it to the point that he'd leave 3 million a year on the table if Kansas called? I have no doubt we'll be willing to pay him 6 million plus but the bluebloods are paying guys almost 9

His oldest daughter is now a student at Alabama, he's said he doesn't want his youngest changing schools like his oldest did, he's made numerous comments about how much his family loves lake living and how much more they can do because of the weather here. He already gave Alabama a discount by signing a new deal in season instead of waiting until the end of the year to negotiate. His buyout is also $12 million right now. You can say it all you want, but schools just don't pay that kind of money to buyout a coach. Sure they may spend double that amount to fire their current coach, but they just don't pay those kinds of buyouts for a new coach. If he leaves Alabama it will be for a NBA job, IMO.

Name another school where he can have players involved in murder and still play with no repercussions?

Brandon Miller could take a shite on every hedge in Sanford while shooting alumni and Uga would take him in the portal with no questions asked.

Truth be told, BAMA doesn't lose head coaches. Not in our DNA.

The only exception I can think of was Bill Curry quitting and going to Kentucky, which made me so happy I couldn't see straight.

Alabama will not pay him as much as Saban for sure. But they could easily pay him 5 million to stay.

If the following link is correct, Cal makes $8.5 million a year (LOL). Self makes $6 million. Hypothetically, if UK fired Cal and offered Oats that kind of money, would Bama match it, on top of all the facility upgrades they've promised but have yet to deliver on? I don't know.

You just don't get it yet, do you son?

Let me guess, your daddy has money and that's the only reason you were even able to go to college and get a start in business. Which you failed at.

He and family were well received at Bama. He is respected and well paid and is looking at an increase in pay on the regular. He was promised a new Basketball Center.
After the end of this season is over I expect word that the building is a go. If not the AD and school president will be shot at dawn.

It damn sure better be. If not, then we can't really blame him if he goes elsewhere down the road.
