Do Texas and OU enjoy having other exciting conference games that get attention?

Or do you guys miss the spotlight? I imagine big 12 boards would talk about last weekend's Texas and Oklahoma games for weeks until another interesting matchup came along.

We get more now than then. B12 always gave us early games. Glad to be away. For example, we play 8 SEC teams ranked in current top 30, thats so much better than Iowa State type games.
Not sure why posters keep trying to prove something, we came to SEC and did make playoffs. Its a brutal schedule yet its awesome at the same time. I enjoy watching the other conf games as well.

I’m glad we’ve gone to 9 games SEC. Way better for matchups.

Not at all. Have you looked at the price of tickets for Texas road games? Our game in Knoxville is the second highest in the nation. Look at the ticket prices in Baton Rouge for our upcoming game with LSU. At The University of Texas, we never lack for attention.

lol at the OP's premise...
Even with all the melodrama between the kissing cousins of LSU and OM, nobody really outside of the South cares about two drunk hillbillies fighting over a pregnant woman with an ankle monitor over who the daddy is.

Miss the spotlight? Are you kidding? We're the #1 rated team in the country with a rude coach, an underperforming overprivledged QB, and a stadium chocked full of immigrants illegal or otherwise. We always have plenty of spotlight. In addition, "We are the Joneses".

No it's far better than the BorInG12. It wasn't fun watching OU kick the tar out of everyone every game. Selling tickets to games you couldn't make it to became a chore too. It was Stale and Boring.

Personally, I like playing the better teams but I understand the committee screws you when you do and lose. Again, IMO Oklahoma isn't fun anymore because they have slipped but playing Ohio State and Georgia is fun. Games like tomorrow night are really not fun as a fan.
