Lets see we lose 16 points due to special teams.
And quit running the ball in 2 possesions in which we were gashing them for 5 yards a carry.
We had more yards and gave the 16 points via 2 missed FGa, that weren't even close, we fumbled a kickoff that gave them 7 and we gave up a long kickoff return to open the game.
They deserved to win the game, but at the same time we made the mistakes Bama didn't make for four or five straight years.
Beating yourself is in tge eye of the beholder, I don't think Jones should be returning kicks late un a close game, he actually fumbled 2 and got one back.
If you fumble with 5 minutes left un a tie game, then you made the mistake that cost yourself the game, semantics be damed.

Well, at least we made it to page 2 before this kind came out making excuses trying to prove that, well, Alabama beat themselves.
You literally just pointed out your flaws and said "if we didn't have flaws, we would have won!"

For the most part I think it's an SEC RANT mentality... Ahhhh who am I kidding.. Of course 99% of them really believes this BS. Forget you lose in any aspect of the game, it's their own fault.

Saban hasn't been the same since Gus showed up and the Kick Six happened. Gus and his offensive style is a nightmare for Saban. Saban doesn't adapt well and the game is passing him by (see Bobby Bowden). While we are on the subject who will be the Alabama football coach 2 years from now?
