I heard some dude from OM saying they were on "the cusp of a national championship."
That statement was ridiculous. Frickin' delusional.
You have a good team in a down year for college football, nothing more.
You will be bounced out of the expanded playoffs in fairly short order.

They have a better chance losing to State this weekend than winning it all. The teams above them are really good teams.

Why wouldn’t they? They’re gonna be in the playoffs. It’s a crapshoot from there. What is LSU doing? Beating WKU by 3 and headed to the toilet bowl? Anyone with eyes sees OM has a higher ceiling

Every year that LSU sucks is a “down year for college football” to LSU fans. Which is more often than not.

Well, they do have talent and more importantly, a coach many seem to think is worth pursuing.

That LSU team was extremely talented and only lost a couple of fluke OT games. They dominated Ohio State in the championship game and actually coasted much of the second half.
This year's OM team does not compare. You are good, but not great.

You lost to a ranked team by 6. Plus an extra loss to an unranked team. Seems similar to our season so far

I can see them making it to the championship game depending upon how their side of the bracket works out. I can't see them winning it all, but who knows once it all comes down to one game
