DLine coaches around the SEC ...

So it's not just the players that make SEC DLines so formidable, but suddenly everyone has come to the realization that the SEC also has some of the finest DLine coaches as well?
UGA's got Rocker now.
UF's got Brad Lawing.
SCAR has Deke Adams.
Bama has Bo Davis now.
Auburn has Rodney ... although I've always considered the bag man's forte to be recruiting rather than coaching, he's considered a pretty damn good DLine coach by some.
Those are the ones off the top of my head.
Seems like maybe the two most important position coaching jobs in a program, in the SEC, may be the DLine and OLine coaches.
Eta: LSU's Brick Haley ... how could I forget one of the best, Brick Haley. Maybe the best DLine coaching resume in the conference.

it's hard to frick things up when you're getting 6'5 300 pound monsters on the reg.

Three current sec DL coaches played at auburn -- brumbaugh at UK, garner, and rocker.... Also, a&m's DL coach spent ten years here on tubervile's staff, terry price.

Under what HC, under what DC, during what years at Auburn? Is there a correlation to be made and noted?

Rocker and garner played under pat dye... Wayne Hall was DC. Garner was an OL. brumbaugh graduated in 99 I think... he played under both Bowden and tuberville... Bill Oliver and John Lovett were the DCs.

You've conveniently left out Coach Kuligowski, one of the best in the country.

Brumbaugh has been great too. He'll likely end up with two NFLers in Za'Darius Smith (whom he brought in from EMCC) and Bud Dupree.

Convenience had nothing to do with it. I simply know nothing about the man. Thanks for your input.
Give it a decade or two, the rest of us will learn more about Mizzou over time I would imagine.

You can leave Deke Adams off that list for now. He took the best DT and DE we've ever had and decreased sack production by nearly 50% this year compared to the last three.
Lawing and the guy from Mizzou are the best D-Line coaches in my opinion. They get their guys to produce every year whether they are 5 star or 1 star recruits.

Deke had a great year. 2 All Americans on his line this year. Quarles ended up being the best DT in the SEC, he grew as a player a lot this season.

Anyways, if you were a true Gamecock fan you would not only know Deke's lineage and history of success, you would also know, intimately, the particulars with regard to the drop in sacks this year ... not to mention how it intertwines with the sudden, but not unexpected, accolades heaped upon Quarles this season.

He announced along with Dupree that they're both returning too. Really looking forward to watching them play together another season. They were definitely a bright spot among the defense this season.

Well you can blame some of that on your highly touted DE taking the season off.
