Sorry but I don’t agree. And I think you hired the right guy. He is a heck of a coach and heck of a guy. I sympathize with your pain. But remember that I’ve watched Florida win 3 titles in my life. At 54 I’ve watched one disappointing season after another. Suck it up a little. Florida has the resources to fix the problem. Your coach is just now getting his feet wet at the swamp.

Sumrall might be a good coach, we do have some resources, but with Scott Stricklin and the rest of the UAA goons we’ll never put those resources to use to fix them. Sumrall is fighting an uphill battle even if he does have the chops to coach at this level, which is tbd.

No they really dont in todays college football landscape. Its why they are relegated to hiring a coach from Tulane.

It is what it is, Caw....and I like Florida. Its just gonna be so hard for you guys and teams like you to compete with the NIL/Portal.....money is gonna rule the day now. Blue bloods are gonna clean up in this system and its why the SEC is suffering bigtime.

Honestly at this point I’m trying to get fans on board to fold the football program and go all in on basketball. We have enough money to field competitive basketball teams in this era but no way we’ll get 85 players to compete at a high level.
The UAA wants tonfancy uf as an academic school anyway so focusing on basketball would allow them to think of Uf with academic basketball schools like UVA, Duke and unc

Here's an honest take from me....I support Notre Dame because my family is from Ireland....my father, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles....Im the 1st generation born in America. All of them big Notre Dame fans....and I'll tell you this....I would rather us go another 100 years without a title than buying a title now. I hate this system. Just like I hated when the Yankees would buy all their titles because there was no salary cap. Its becoming a joke in college football now with the team with the most money wins. Notre Dame has over 22 billion in their endowment....the most of any major college football program. I dont want to buy titles....I want them to earn them.

We really got to move on from Charlie Condron and his whole "good character trumps talent" mantra.
Boosters need to learn to give cash to people who know what the frick they are doing, not try to micromanage like their are Jerry Jones.

I dont see Woods staying but Disney should pay whatever it takes to keep both. Perception and optics would be bad for Sumrall to lose both.
