Hell yes. Check out Tebow's veteran combine coach. Rico has been shortening his steak motion.

So you're saying it wasn't an academic scholarship?

Kinda hard to use Ed O'Neill because he was a legit athlete and has a black belt in Jiu Jitsu.

Yep - Heisman, Golden Spikes and Naismith. Different years so I can't claim the triple crown but still pretty impressive.

I played HS football and 2 years of college ball. I was a prospect my junior year in HS as a DE/OT being 6'6 255lbs and able to bench press over 400 and run a 4.8 forty. Going into my senior year I was being recruited by Ole Miss, MSU, La Tech, Washington State, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas along with a host of small schools. I did really well at camps that summer, and was expecting an offer from both MSU and OM. My senior year got here and I had an ankle sprain, which I played on throughout the season without missing a game. It hurt my stats though..i wasn't nearly as dominant on the line as I was my junior year due to the injury and I also had a problem not being able to gain any weight. Most schools wanted me for OT instead of DE because I had good technique and quick feet, along with good grades and a build that could hold 300+ lbs.
But the injury and my metabolism fricked me over in the end..didn't get a major offer and ended up playing JUCO ball. Never got over 260lbs in weight though, no matter how much I lifted weights and ate. I started at Tight End for 3 games my freshman year, then got moved to OT after our starting OT got injured and ended up playing that position the rest of my time there. Never gained much weight and only received interest from a few small schools out of Juco. After juco, I just decided football wasn't going to be a career for me and even though I got asked to walk on at State, I just ended up concentrating on my education.
Now that my metabolism has slowed I weigh fricking 280lbs...pisses me off because if I had weighed this at 18 yrs old I would have been playing SEC ball.

Your metabolism hasn't changed. You're fat. 280 is fat on any frame. You need to get up at 4:30 am and run around the catfish dams. Do it!

Played second base at a community college was a very good base runner and left handed bunter. If I was a chick I could have played D1softball as atleast a pinch runner.

High school football & basketball...
College rugby...
Led my team in scoring (was only real offensive threat) & led team in tackles every game I started. Played outside center & fullback. Lightning fast & could break tackles & truck people.
Coached a Jr high football team to a league championship.

D-II college football. Strong Safety, 6'2" and 200 lbs. Played 4 years and finished career by playing in and winning a bowl game in Mexico City, Mexico.
Great feeling to be on foreign soil and hear the National Anthem played right before you strap up to play a game.
