My friend that I lift weights with (bearded, 240lbs) is afraid he's going to get fired because his boss just suggested he "needs to be more gender fluid. By him being confident in his manhood, he's oppressing the ones that are unsure of their gender identity." Wooooooowww. This place is a nightmare.

That's incredible.

People who didn't graduate from their favorite school probably aren't going to respond to this thread.

Yep. Graduated from Arkansas after a... colorful early academic career that saw stops at Southern Illinois, Troy (via their campus on military bases program), and a semester at good ole Mid South Community College.

My favorite team is Alabama but I did not graduate from there. Upon graduation from high school I attended the University of Alabama for four semesters (two years), and had four different majors. I simply had no idea what I wanted to do, so I decided to stop wasting my parents' money and joined the military. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Excelsior College at age 45.

Do I have your approval to continue being a Bama fan?

Yep. Started as a freshman straight outta high school in '98. Left in 2000 to pursue a full-time job opportunity, then came back to work for UGA in 2005 and also began finishing my degree at that time...two jobs, married and with a new baby two years in. Graduated class of '11 from Grady (J-school).

Also born and raised in Athens, so there's that.
