Did the SEC just complete its best weekend in history?

Think about it. Nobody is talking about it and that explains everything.

Bama, LSU, Texas: all got shut up. Even Tennessee kind of lost.

Everything was perfect except the schedule. Unfortunately, someone had to lose the UF - USCe game. Likewise, somebody had to win the OU - TX. Still, the hungry teams won.

Mediocrity from LSU didn’t even break tRant this time showing that we either have better hosting or LSU is one step closer to reality.

Speaking from the Ole Miss side of things, I’d say it was pretty good.

Definitely. The last thing we need around here is another round of Vandy alters.

One of the best parts is that a loss to Kentucky robbed them of the energy to shitpost about Bama for the next two weeks. Great weekend all around

Marcel Reed is straight arse, but considering our defense had to be almost completely revamped it looks like they're really rounding into shape. And now that we have a quarterback capable of completing a downfield pass, Mizzou has a shot to do some damage.

What a shame Ahmad Hardy isn't going to be healthy in time to share the load with Roberts.

From a Georgia perspective, it was almost a perfect day...

I'm not sure I'm ready for Mizzou to be legit. Didn't see that one coming.

Our schedule is supposed to take care of that for you.

Mizzou was the only team to play peak Georgia close a few years back so we’ve been hanging around.

Red River Ratings will be huge. Everyone stuck around after the Mizzou TAMU game and the game was close.

I think the Zou quite possibly is going to the playoffs this year.

It will be either them or UK who takes the 4th slot for the SEC imo

I've been saying since the summer that missouri is legit good as hell this year, and they're doing all this without their best player who might be a top 3 or 4 RB in america. I'm sure he'll be fully healthy by the time we play. It's entirely possible missouri will be the 2nd hardest game we play all year.

Help me understand Bama "got shut up" when the game was two high powered offenses whose defenses held the game to a 20-17 final score? That game was one bounce of the ball from going the other way. So how did Bama get "shut up"? LOL!

Their outside zone running game is really impressive.

When paired with a QB who actually is a legit deep ball threat it makes their offense way more dynamic and difficult to defend than most people think or realize.

I remember drink saying the reason they beat the shite out of florida is because they basiclaly run the same offense so they knew how to defend it.

I wonder if in some ever so small way, playing Florida 2 weeks before missouri might help us a little bit

100% - if you beat UF - no reason to even game plan for Mizzou

What? The SEC events from the weekend have sucked all the air out of CFB discussion for any other games.

I couldn't physically bring myself to turn off the TV during the TX-OK. What a fantastic game for a neutral observer
