Jalen was not a great QB. AJ and Coker were both better.

They were probably all better than Blake Sims, but he's still my favorite Alabama QB.

This gif still makes me laugh:

Blake Sims is the fvckin GOAT

I'm not sure I'll ever love another Alabama player as much as I love that guy

Most overrated coach ever. He discovered that the keys to success were actually just Dodge Charger keys. Those don't work as well anymore. Real men drive trucks

Any coach worth his salt would have gone 10-2 regular season with the talent bama had on the field. The disparity is talent level between the tide and their opponents (except LSU and auburn) was just to much no matter the amount of injuries.

The tide isn't the only team with injuries and players missing games. For years we've heard from tide fans that bama was replacing an outgoing 5* with a 5* player. Fifteen #1 recruiting classes in 12 years.

What would you be saying without the Mulligan in 2017.

Not so sure with the talent that Saban has assembled. 8 straight #1 recruiting class and not having a NC to show for it would hard for fans to swallow. I think the narrative would be that of Saban underachieving.

During the 4 years of the Jalen/Tua era

- 52-5 Overall (29-3 SEC)
- 2 SEC Titles
- 1 National Title
- 2 National Runners Up
- 4 Top 10 finishes

If that underachieving then sign me up

I really do wonder where some of you were from 1997-2007. I mean, I have an idea, but I just can't imagine feeling upset/slighted by a run like the one laid out above.

Kids who were 7 years old when Saban came to Alabama are now 18 and out of highschool.

It's not going to be pretty for those people when things really do start to fall off.

Being upset about a 4 year period that includes 2 conference titles, 2 trips to the national title game and 50+ wins is ridiculous, that's why.

Just wait until the poor schmuck who replaces Saban goes 9-3. Good luck partner.

So you would have an issue with the lack of a NC considering that talent on the roster ? I do not like to call bullshite, but bullshite. We heard bitching for most when there was a two year drought, imagine a 4 year drought.
