Williams made a huge mistake not coming out last year when his stock was 1st/2nd round.

Here's what NFL.com had to day:
LINK

WEAKNESSES Consistent discipline issues at Auburn. Suspended for Outback Bowl after 2014 season, missed practices for "personal reasons" this August and was kicked off of the team in October admitting he "made mistake after mistake" which lead to his dismissal. Stiff hips and below average athlete. Restricted, semi-strider off snap and slow into routes. Won?t slip many tackles in the open field after the catch. Despite his size, blocking not a priority for him. Small hands for his size. Can't shake free underneath and will have to live off of contested catches. Very little acceleration for separation out of breaks. Could be forced into slot role only. Looked like he was going through the motions in 2015 before his dismissal. Scouts don?t trust his personal or football character at all.

SOURCES TELL US "I can tell you that he burned all of his bridges over there (Auburn). He's a selfish, me-first guy and I don't think he's trustworthy in the locker room at all. He didn't compete at all this year. I wouldn't draft him in any round." -- NFC Director of Personnel

The guy was incredible last year and the prototypical NFL TE/Big WR.

Brains trump talent

I remember those preseason threads about how Duke was better than Pharoh. Well the actual season/career stats didn't back up that claim, and neither did the NFL draft.

If Duke hadn't gone full retard this year he would have had better stats and gone higher than Pharoh. I don't think that's even an argument. Duke is just mental which negates all the talent he has.

I've never made a bet around here but if I did make one and I lost, I'd own up to it. It says a lot about your character if you can't even honor an av bet and that av was a cool one to boot.

nah, Auburn doesn't develop WR's. To many If's and Woulda/Coulda's in your argument. https://www.ngngsports.com/2016/05/ricardo-louis-just-basically-told-everyone-auburn-doesnt-develop-receivers.html

The only if was if he wasn't a complete retard. Physically Duke is far superior to Pharoh.

I hope Duke likes cold weather because it gets cold in Canada.

Really? Can you link one? I can't conceive of any Auburn fan worrying about whether Duke was better than Pharaoh.

There were a bushel basket of Auburn fans who couldn't see the forest for the trees when it came to Duke. Duke ran poor routes, had stiff hips, hardly ever got separation from the DB's who usually weren't the shutdown corner. He has small hands, discipline issues both on the field and off. For the love he is a below average physical talent (NFL) with huge off the field red flags. He was lucky he got to play one year with Sammie who actually scared opposing D-coordinators so he could get some pitch and catch time over the middle with Nick and make people think he was WR material.

Lets be clear, he wasn't undrafted due to lack of skill or physical ability. Nobody ever said he had a better character than Amari
