Frick football. When you see the new SEC TV deal that wouldn't have existed without us you will see why we were worth adding.

You're right - no one was paying attention to SEC football before the aggies showed up.

So adding the HEISMAN TROPHY WINNING QUARTERBACK to a top-10 team would have propelled them to a national title?

You need to get better at this whole backhanded compliment thing.

Let's just go ahead and burn this mother****** down.

SEC Digital Network
quote:

Sumlin and Texas A&M surprised everyone but themselves in 2012, entering the SEC with quite a bang en route to finishing in a tie for second-place in the Western Division along with LSU.

CBS Sports
quote:

After a memorable 11-2 season that included an upset of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a second-place finish in the SEC West and the first Heisman Trophy-winning freshman, no one is doubting whether Texas A&M can clear the bar in the SEC.

SB Nation

2012 SEC Football Standings: Texas A&M finishes tied for 2nd in West

Huffington Post
quote:

Who would've thought going into the first year in the SEC that the Aggies would have TWO SEC West Champions and the football team would be second place in the West -- only to Alabama

Plenty more I'm sure.. but you get the point.

It's not a tie when you lose the head to head dumb frick.

You don't see us claiming to be co national champs bc "we have the same record as Bama!"

Moral victories all around. You should put a co second place banner up like ole miss.

:nb4#2on SECCrings:

Yeah, that wasn't a moral victory, that was a putdown from miles to the players.

24-19

^^^^ that's our non heisman QB shitting on y'all

Where was yours?
Oh yeah:
. 41-24

0-2

Technically we finished tied for second according to the official SEC record books, and that's all anyone will know a decade from now. well, that and the fact that you got run by an ACC school in the chicken bowl.

Oh yeah.. here's ESPN's, almost forgot.

ESPN
quote:

The Aggies are now one win away from 10. If they are able to get a win next week versus Missouri, it would be the first time since 1998 that the Aggies have won 10 games in a season. A win would also ensure the Aggies finish no lower than second in the SEC West, which is well above the preseason expectations many pundits had.

Something about not being second?

Head to head is only officially applied when deciding divisional champions in BCS conferences.

History will have officially recorded A&M and LSU tied for second this year. Sorry if that bothers you. Take it up with Slive.

I started to comment on this but Mr. Klarvin beat me to it with a smarter reply than I would have offered. I would also submit Kevin Damn Sumlin to the mix of what A&M's success was about.

At the other end, everybody needs to give Missouri a break despite the trash-talking of two players. They had the worst injury-related luck of any team I remember lately (Aggies like to think we avoided the same because of a new strength & conditioning coach. We may be right, but there's no discounting especially bad luck). Missouri will be fine.

Only somewhat related, one of those two trash talkers Sheldon Richardson is on my short list of non-Aggie players I will always pull for after seeing him kneeling down genuinely concerned when JFF laid on the field apparently injured. That's not something you forget.

Maybe, maybe not. I think he's probably a good coach, but it's hard to say after only one year at aTm where he was working with Manziel.

Don't care about the second place. But these shittalkers had to be put in their place. You frickers slipped up and let em win and now they think they're hot shite. When miles and saban bitch slaps them next year they'll know their place.

I can't help that I like to see LSU fans add more butt-hurt to the rant.

If online reporters/writers have layed the foundation for me to rustle their jimmies.. then it's only that much easier.
