In other words, you guys have invented a false premise as thone of the main justifications for whatever level of success you believe 2012 was for you. This, paired with the infamous "We ALMOST veat Bama!!!" battle cry, makes this arguably the single most fictitious view of success in the modern era of college football. 2004 Auburn aint got shite on you guys.

1: Urban had more success in his time at Florida than any program in the country. He won two national titles, three BCS bowl, two SEC titles, three SEC west title and a 48-7 record from 2006-2009. He was the best at what he did while at UF. He was also what, 4-2 against Miles?
2: Yeah, I think a doctor telling me "you're THIS close to a heart attack" would make me step back and think for a bit about life away from football, even if only for the moment.

2012 wasn't a success for us. Even before the bowl game. That's what y'all don't get. Y'all are gitty as frick about beating Bama and being co #2. (Sure, Yall are co#2 i wont shite on that anymore).That's a disappointment to us. Nobody thinks this year was a good regular season.
Hell we go 13-1 and we aren't happy.
On the flip side, y'all drop 2 games and act like y'all are neck and neck w Bama bc y'all caught them at the most fortunate time. Beating a NC doesn't make you one.

On no, I definitely understand. You're big bad LSU fans who, since the game of college football began many moons ago in the year 2000, always expect nothing short of a national title every year. 13-1 is a complete and total waste of time if you don't win it all.
Seriously, how does a little over one decade give a fanbase so much hubris? Pror to Saban's arrival at LSU, your program had won three conference titles in the previous 40 years. Your program was below A&M's in all-time success. And now that A&M has risen from the ashes, you somehow believe that what happened to you just 12 years ago can't happen to a program with a larger living alumni base, a better recruiting epicenter and just as many resources as you?

LSU isnt a "daddy" anymore than Bama is. We didnt leave to get out of Texas' winning shadow, we left to get out from their shadow of control within the state and of the Big XII. That conference is a dictatorship.
