Okay, regarding the 'celebrating'. Where did you see that? I saw one short piece of clip showing Wade jumping up in the background. Not saying he didn't, thinking he had made a good play - but I have yet to SEE any video of him celebrating, and that includes watching the live broadcast.
Surely someone has video of him celebrating? Please post if so...

And i'll call bullshite on the celebration stuff. That shite happens EVERY, SINGLE big play. You watch an LSU/Bama series when the defense comes up huge and tell me they don't jump around.
Dude, he was over there on the bench with his helmet off, running his cocksucker and pointing his finger around like a moron well after the penalty was assessed.

While I agree with this statement, the hit and ensuing celebration was ejectable. Menzie did something like this a few weeks ago in one of our games but you could tell the moment he got up that he knew he timed it wrong and fricked up. His was totally unintentional and you could tell it by his reaction. This guy on the other hand was completely the opposite.

Damn good announcing crew, never gets caught up in the emotion of the moment or anything.

Pathetic, POS fans, trying to defend what that POS player did to get ejected. Only one fanbase I know would even try to defend it. Any other would admit it was a cheap shot and just say it doesn't represent what they stand for. Not flagship.

Why stop? You were making some pretty good points. Hell, you'd almost convinced us that it was the return man's fault for stepping out in front of Wade's path, for not having caught the ball yet, for tracking the ball's trajectory instead of checking to see if someone was about to catch him flat-footed and for having his helmet in the way.
Wade is simply being picked on.

I agree

The hit was illegal, and yes he led with his helmet, but the hit itself was not ejection-worthy. There have been tougher and dirtier hits that do not even get flagged. It looked even worse because it was on special teams, where people are running at each other at full speed.
The Vandy player did call a fair catch, but I do think it's possible that Wade didn't see it.
In addition, the whole thing took place in such a short period of time. It's very easy to overanalyze this kind of stuff.
I think the celebration afterwards was definitely unnecessary and what happened on the sideline afterwards made him look worse.
Bottom line, it was an illegal hit, which wasn't ejection worthy, but the behavior afterwards was.

Doesnt matter, it still was an illegal, and dangerous play, even without the fair catch call.

I saw him celebrate after the hit, then he was jawing and acting in a manner I would call celebrating on the sidelines. Then he acted like a moron when being ejected.
After looking at the replay, I can see where he would mistakenly hit the Vandy returner early, but why not check on him. Where the hell is the sportsmanship in his actions?
Pretty sorry display by Wade.

Were you defending Jefferson for kicking a defenseless Marine while he lay on the ground?
Did you defend honey badger for smoking gas station herb?
Along with the rest of the piece of shite players involved with each incident who should be kicked out of school for the incidents, because by god that is what I say should happen.

Perhaps there was some jawing from Vandy players towards Wade on previous plays?
Perhaps Wade don't give a frick, he does what he wants.

I guess you weren't around whining about how Chad Jones' leading with the helmet on a defenseless receiver was "a fair hit"...
Insecure hypocrites, the lot of ya.
The fact that you're comparing this hit to Cad Jones' hit from 09 is laughable. Wade's hit was the dirtiest that I've ever seen. It was clear that the PR didn't have the ball and it's also clear that Wade intentionally went for the head on that hit.
BTW Jones' hit was illegal but it wasn't helmet to helmet.
