It depends on what you mean by "best." Strictly on rushing statistics? Henry only had one year (2015) where he was their workhorse. He ended up having fewer yards per carry than Bo did in 1985. Henry had 5.6 compared to Bo's 6.4 in 1985.
Henry's 2,200 yards are impressive, but he played 15 games. Auburn only played 11 plus 1 bowl game in the 80's.
Now talking about pure athletic ability? Bo is still supreme. Bo ran a legit 4.2. Henry ran a 4.5 at the NFL combine. Bo ran an electronically timed 10.39 100 meter in college. Henry ran an 11.11 100 meter in HS (only 100 meter stat I could find).
So speed goes to Bo, no question. It's not even close.
Henry is bigger (near 250). Bo was between 225 and 230. It could be argued Henry is more "powerful" I guess, but Bo routinely ran over NFL LB's.
Also, Bo said the NFL for him was a "hobby." Remember, he didn't even go to their off-season camp because he was playing baseball. He just showed up for the NFL and played for half a season and still dominated.
