Fournette shite the bed against Alabama.
Lost 3 games.
Fragile his senior year.
Henry > Fournette

I agree with this. And I was one of the people who disrespected the guy
Henry is a better back than Fournette. Not many backs can carry a team almost to a super bowl like Henry did. The dude can play

Henry had multiple games under 4 yards a cary
He just was on the best team in the country

Titans weren't that good and Henry put them on his back and carried them to the cusp of the Super Bowl.

How many points did the other team score in those games?
12 and 13
He had some help from the Defense too.

Other than he broke Walkers rushing record with less carries.
Haha while being surrounded by NFL talent on offensive line, tight end, and receiver. Herschel had his sole athletic ability vs 9+ in the box every play when everyone knew he was getting the ball. Not to mention Henry had the best defense in the country to get the ball back into his hands with fresh legs.
Go take a lap.

imho derrick is the best rb I've seen play in the sec.
I always thought barring injury he'd end up the best nfl back...

Don't act like Georgia in the early-80s were some Joe Schmoe underdogs. From 1980-83, Georgia was on an impressive run that included a national championship, three consecutive SEC championships, and four consecutive AP Top 5 finishes. Herschel Walker was the best player on one of the best teams in college football. Just like Derrick Henry.

I tend to think Henry is the better back, but the dismissal of Fournette's 2015 numbers is simply narrative driven bullshite.
One game will forever dictate how Fournette was viewed that year, and nothing will ever change anyone's minds.
But time has shown that Henry is the better runner.
Fournette was arguably better in 2015. Maybe you don't think he was better, but it is arguable.

I think Henry has a size and speed that is extremely rare.
His top end speed is extremely under-rated, and his long stride makes it look like he's not running that fast when he really is. I've never see so many DBs take bad angles at a guy. It's extremely rare he is ever caught from behind, counting DBs.
The other 2 backs that come to mind with that combination were Bo and Walker.

And Georgia's entire offense was developed around having success behind Walker and the running game, as was common at the time.

So the defense keeps him fresh...by getting him the ball back quickly?

The junkyard dawgs which jawja called it's defense back then was pretty good!
Secondly, everybody ran the ball back then. It wasn't until "Air Spurrier" came along at fla, all that changed.
Lastly, jawja fed Herschel Walker the ball often and a lot. They didn't play as many games back then but he saw the bulk of their carries.
So, you go take a bath, because your thoughts smell to high heavens!

Just another legendary player that's "MADE BY BAMA!"

So if Henry had Brandon Harris and LSU’s scheme he would have put up the same numbers? Don’t worry I’ll wait.

Well let's carry that over to their NFL careers. What you think?
Hurry up, I'm waiting!
