He was the first to do a commitment video about as much as the stadium he's going to play in was the first to be called Death Valley.

Some top Mississippi Kid did it at the Dandy Dozen get together with the rest of the MSU commits in the Dandy Dozen last year.

Tons of recruits have done these videos the past 3 years. For UGA, Robert Beal, D'andre Swift, Nate McBride, Malik Herring, Jadon Haselwood. This isn't anything new. In fact, a lot of recruiting services (247, Bleacher Report, Dawgnation and SEC Country of Cox Media) will work behind the scenes with top players to develop these videos in exchange for getting to plug their service.

At least those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. 4* Deontay Anderson committed to Ole Miss in a video where he parachuted down wearing Ole Miss stuff.
