The OP's post was the most rational post in that thread and he got downvoted into oblivion. Everything he said was true except maybe Auburn wanting it more. I think they were hungry too.. but we just outplayed them.

There was nothing flukey about this win. Lsu was the better team

LSU also won the turnover battle, were better on 3rd down on both sides of the ball and won special teams by a wide margin.
Auburn is just better though, according to the Aggy.

Our defense is far better than theirs (although theirs is in no way bad). Their passing game is better than our. Our running game is better than theirs (though not by a drastic amount). Our special teams are better.
Honestly, if LSU was slightly better on offense, Auburn would have never been in that game. We should have been up 17-0 by the end of the first quarter and all of their big drives were extended by LSU making stupid penalties.

Auburn is the better team overall. Stidham played poorly and that was the worst effort by the D Line in years. Ed O got his boys to play for him and they won because they wanted it more.
I was livid by the PI calls (not all of them) but Auburn should have never put themselves in that position. If Auburn scores anything in the 2nd half they win. The fact is the play calling stalled and LSU wanted it more so they won.

I think everyone agrees that it was evenly matched. Everyone also agrees that it was at Jordan-Hare.

The play calling just stalled. It had nothing to do with Aranda and the defense adjusting at half time.

I don't think AU was the better team. Nothing on Saturday showed AU was better. Maybe the end of the second quarter AU was better, but other than that there wasn't anything.
AU has potential, but that little shite Gus rolled out a soft as frick team Saturday.

If they were the better team, they would not have turned it over twice (really 3 times), would have gotten off the field on 3rd and 4th down in the 4th quarter, and would have scored more points than LSU.
