since the 1800s this game has been played in November or the last couple days of October with the only exceptions being the '17 SECCG and the first meeting which was in February. I hope your AD enjoys spitting in the face of a century old tradition.
There’s a large contingent of AU fans who felt this way BEFORE this became official. Many only wanted to break up playing UGA/Bama away every other year.

Yeah, Auburn's 3-7 vs LSU over the last ten years, but only 3-8 vs UGA during that time.

isnt your AD trying to move the cocktail party out of Jacksonville?
Leveraging Jax for more money. I doubt it gets moved. I hope it doesn't.
Aside from a Penn State or Baylor type of situation, there isn't much that would get me to turn on Kirby. But if he successfully lobbies to move that game to a home/home, I'd want him fired within 10 minutes of the announcement.

& yet Aub. DID NOT have an issue until the SEC screwed up the rotation putting UGA & Ala. both on the road the same years!
Finally a Georgia fan who gets it. The SEC Office screwed this up.

Auburn should be in the East and Mizzou should be in the West.
Scrap permanent rivalries for all schools except Auburn - Alabama and maybe LSU - Florida.
Not everyone needs to have permanent rivals. In the PAC 12, only the California schools have permanent cross divisional opponents to make sure they all play each other every season.

Cross div. rivalries stay.
Mizz. & Aub. ARE NOT swapping because the SEC WILL NOT put 2 teams from the same state in opp. divisions. Therefore Tn. & Vandy will always be paired!!!
Besides, is Ala. gonna be playing TSIO or the IB going forward? You know the SEC WILL NOT lose either.
&, before you day it, NO SEC game will be non-conf.!!!

I believe Florida is a bigger rival than GT, but many have a different opinion.

In fairness, WLOCP is always just before Halloween.

"Interesting that he's also saying UF is a bigger rival than GT."

Which is what it was before y'all had it changed. Now we have y'all & GT on the road the same year.

Conference realignment is the bigger issue.

The SEC forcing UGA to travel in consecutive years screwed this up for both schools.
