Imagine working all off-season to deal with injuries and transfers, get your roster set, and incorporate concepts and schemes, just to have someone ask if you also plan on signing former NFL players in Week 0.

They get injuries and nobody has the depth they used to because of NIL. Kirby Smart said those days of previous depth are gone

The NCAA should have just grandfathered these guys in and all of this would have been avoided. Even people as stupid as me realized they should have been allowed to stay. THEN, if they decide to leave, it's on them. Now they can just say "well, I didn't know I would have another year" which is obviously just talking around the point that they couldn't make it in the NFL.

They should probably see if any nfl coaches have some eligibility left. They need that more than anything.

They took Seattle’s OC last season, didn’t help them much but the Seahawks offense got way better and won the Super Bowl

You would think at some point the NFL might step in once they realize most kids are getting paid more money to stay in college, and their players union is probably noticing that the rookie contract scale drops like a rock by comparison after the first few picks.
Meanwhile I guess it's just more free development for them, though.
