Just a PSA.
And don’t think for a second that now that LSU has popped this cherry others won’t be following suit to plug holes in their roster.
Carry on.

Nobody else wants them or wants to upset the rosters at this point. You do realize that we are 1 week away from football season starting, right? If you need NFL players to patch holes at this point, you have some big concerns.

I bet this goes over well in the TE room.

Sure that’s a going to be a problem
Tre’Dez Green feels threatened by this
We have a couple FR TEs
A transfer from Oregon- that is a volker and not pass catcher.
These guys are all being paid like pros.
Adds and cuts are part of pro sports-
Consequences of being a “pro” cut just as hard as the benefits to being treated like one- just like the players wanted.
The sooner you all realize this is just collecting mercenaries to field a team that gives you the best chance to win is how it’s done for now the better off you all will be.
Get off your high horses and stop trying to all of a sudden be morally outraged by any of this.
Deal with it

Maybe Lane got him just so Ole Miss couldn't being they have very little experience in the TE room.

Ah ... rationalization of unscrupulous tactics.
Hope you feel better about the dishonest, unethical, immoral, corrupt, and unprincipled path that LSU has chosen.

This will be short lived. The next offseason this will be stopped.

If the TE room wants to get paid like professionals they can act like professionals when other players are brought in.
No one should feel sorry for anyone getting paid to do a job.

Dishonest? I feel like we're pretty up front about everything at the moment.

In the world of college football, the term "slippery slope" can now be changed to "free fall without a parachute."
