Did half aggy's team quit before losing to the same Big 12 team in the same bowl game in 2016?

I loved Elko but he had some flaws. He himself said that he would start with a base defense and make adjustments later. Every game that we lost we were behind by double digits at halftime before adjustments were made

Combine that with a backup QB and patchwork offense outside of Kyle Field (Calzada wasn't bad at home, but on the road -- oof). Still, shouldn't have lost at least two of the games we did lose anyway

This is incorrect. Ole Miss had a pretty good passing defense this season. We allowed 230 yards per game, 14 TDs, and 11 INTs. We allowed just two 300 yard passers (and won both games). In terms of opposing QB rating, we were third in the conference.

You are correct.

Passing Defense: #68

With all the recent OC/DC hires, are there any 2 M coordinators?

Here is the list of highest-paid previously.

LINK

1. Brent V - 2.50 M (Now OU HC)
2. Tony Elliott - 2.13 M (Now UVA HC)
3. Mike Elko - 2.10 M (Now Duke HC)
4. Todd Grantham - 1.801 M (Fired)
5. Alex Grinch - 1.80 M (Now USC DC - raise? paycut?)
6. Barry Odom - 1.75 M (he's still there!)
7. Pete Kwiatkowski - 1.70 M (still there and still way overpaid)
7. Dan Lanning - 1.70 M (Now UO HC)
9. Pete Golding - 1.63 M (still there)
10. Derek Mason - 1.50 M (still there)

I haven't seen any #s, but I would expect Durkin to be on this list now. A&M made a strong offer and Ole Miss threw the kitchen sink to keep him. Someone said HC in waiting.

Slim chance Durkin gets to be a head coach again. If so, it will be at a very small school. Hugh Freeze got a 2nd chance but hookers are easier to justify than Durkin's issues.

I thought he was ok, but not worth throwing $ at.
