Is Cal more focused on getting him drafted or actually winning a game in the tournament?

I agree he’s earned it, but our record against top quad one teams usually prevents a player from winning those type of awards.

We made the sweet 16 (shoulda been elite 8) with 6 guys last year...

This is one Cal dont have to worry about being drafted.
He didnt rack up stats againt easy teams either. He is averaging 25 plus in Sec games I believe. The boy is a machine.

Well, against us he did literally everything a player can be expected to do.

He was almost half your entire offense that game.

Still wish he had just gone for the win with a three. We couldn’t have survived a third OT.

SEC POTY? Sure. National? Good luck taking that from Boozer.

His game is NBA ready. So smooth and natural looking on the offensive side, then takes a break while playing the defensive side. He is crazy athletic, so I am sure he would be a good defender, but Arkansas doesn't seem to emphasize it. Not sure if that is a Cal thing or the Hogs don't have the personnel for it this season.

Won’t even be a top 3 pick.

I might watch him in the SEC tournament unless it is at the same time as baseball. I guess I need to see what all the hoopla is about. Can't root for a Calipari team though.

He leads the league in scoring and assists (I think.)

He certainly has earned POTY in my mind.

Idk how they can knock him for that considering what he's put up in those games.

He had 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds against Houston.

21 points and 5 assists against Duke

49 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds against Bama

17 points and 6 assists against Florida

SEC POTY FOR CERTAIN.

The national media are locked on to Boozer or Dysbanta.

It'll be Boozer. The media had him crowned before games were even played.
