We have 3 sophomores (1 of whom is a biletnikoff finalist) and 1 freshman and as a group, they are significantly better than any group we've had before. You will see for yourself on the 29th.
We averaged 38 PPG in 2013 but we average 48 this year. We also scored on D and ST a lot more in 2013.

And you'd think after last year's experience with Georgia they'd figure out the 2010 run first power-I SEC offenses thing does not exist anymore.

Jeudy, Ruggs, Devontae Smith and Waddle? Pretty sure all 4 will play in the NFL.
There are times in which you are level headed and make excellent points, but you are dead wrong on this one.

Maybe you should go back and look at the stats from last years Rose Bowl, then. You gave up 54 points and your defense lined up badly, and tackled worse all game long. And our offense was not the strength of the team.
Your offense is good. VERY good. but face it...your defense is horrible. Poor tackling, poor angles, lining up wrong, can't adjust to offensive shifts....we have Georgia high schools that would score major points on Oklahoma's defense. I'm not trying to troll you or belittle your team. It's just a fact.

When you were a diaper baby, OU beat Alabama convincingly. This was 4-5 years ago. The same hullabaloo ya'll were talkin back then has come full circle again.
My prediction: Bama will be on the ropes in this game. Final score will be around 55-45.

Neither are a diverse or as talented as Alabama's offense. It is not just one or two players that are good on Alabama, Alabama has at least 4 great RB and 4 great WR, along with better QBs.
OU may stay in the game unitl the half, but Alabama then outdistances them.
Alabama by 21 (at least)
edit to add- it is hard to judge how good the OU offense really is when they play such lousy defenses.

I also think the score will be around 55-45 (I think we'll win, I assume you think the flipside). Nobody here is arguing (well, almost nobody) that Oklahoma's offense won't score a bunch. We're arguing that these "but really" defenses of Oklahoma's defense are just stupid. You guys are awful on defense and insane on offense. It's ok to admit that.

The difference in that game was Alabama turned the ball over 5 times. Now if the Oklahoma D can get Alabama to turn the ball over 5 times, then OU has a chance.

Exactly - hell arguing OU is good on defense is almost the same as arguing OU is bad on offense.

I'll never understand the insistence that their defense is really good, and only looks bad because they play such good offenses.
They do play good offenses, but all they have to look at is the Rose Bowl to see how bad their defense was. I mean, our offense was good last year, but not BIG12 good and we put 54 up on them. That alone should close the argument.

You've always had this. You run a spread offense with 4 WR sets now and distribute the ball to those WRs instead of the old 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense you used to run. It's the same talent you've had for years, used differently.
