You gave up an average of 50 PPG against the 3 Top 25 offenses you played this year, 52 PPG vs the 2 Top 10 offenses you played.

But please, continue.

You've always had this. You run a spread offense with 4 WR sets now and distribute the ball to those WRs instead of the old 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense you used to run. It's the same talent you've had for years, used differently.

We're much more talented and deep at WR, TE and QB than we have ever been under Nick Saban. That isn't really debatable nor has it been debated by anyone.

You are more than welcome to take that position, though.

I didn't say we "have a good defense!" anywhere on this entire forum. There are schematic issues and technique issues at all three levels of that defense. That's why Mike Stoops was fired mid-season, and the rest of that staff will fired at the end of the season.

No you're not. McCarron's offense running this scheme would've produced similar results.

You insinuate it. I mean you argue the only reason your defense is so bad is because you play against BIG 12 defenses. Trust me when I said if you played in the SEC, your offense would not look as good, and your defense would look as bad.

Georgia put up a more points on Oklahoma than any BIG 12 team did this year or last except for West Virginia this year. And, I will say it again....offense was not our strength last year. We were good, though.

No I don't. You're creating a straw-man so you can slay him and proclaim yourself victorious. I just told you what I think of our defense above. Read it.

Have you not said the reason your defense looks bad is because you play against such great offenses?

No. What part of "Mike Stoops was fired mid-season and the rest of the staff will be fired after the season" do you not understand?

2013 WR/TE/QB
QB - AJ McCarron, NFL Backup
WR - Amari Cooper, NFL WR
WR - DeAndrew White, NFL practice squad
WR - Kevin Norwood, out of football
WR - Kenny Bell, out of football
TE - Brian Vogler, out of football

2018 WR/TE/QB (Walter FB 2020 NFL Draft)
QB - Tua Tagovailoa, R1, P1 2020 Draft
WR - Jerry Jeudy, R1, P4 2020 Draft
WR - Henry Ruggs
WR - DeVonta Smith
WR - Jalyn Waddle
TE - Irv Smith Jr, R1 P24 2020 Draft

Ruggs will be a Top 2-3 round pick, Smith will get drafted and Waddle may be the highest drafted of all of them when he eventually leaves.

Don't be silly, it's a bad look.

Yeah. People who’ve followed Alabama for decades wouldn’t know.

This is pure speculation on your paret of where these guys will be drafted and I'm the one that's "silly"?

Just watching the two offenses, it is clear that Alabama is far superior in 2018 than it was in 2013. But so is Oklahoma on offense. No need to get bent out of shape.

Alabama is averaging nearly 150 YPG more in 2018 than 2013. Over 100 more through the air. And still similar in RPG. More than 10 PPG more as well.

Do you guys watch teams from other conferences? Do you read about college football at all? The opinions we are sharing are universal.

I never thought I'd be arguing that our skill players this year are better than DeAndrew White, Kenny Bell and Brian Vogler.

He is just being obtuse, now. I am thinking you can continue arguing with him, but I am gone.

Yea, I remember these similar discussions last year. Just kind of silly. To each his own I guess.

I'll tell you what, Ace. Since Bama fans are now spread offense experts with superior knowledge to fanbases in the conference that started it all, and have watched it for years, I'm going to make some predictions.

1. Kliff Kingsbury will be the next OC at USC.
2. They will immediately become a top 10 offense.
3. It will be with the same talent they have now.
4. Whoever their QB is will be a Heisman candidate.
5. It won't be because "they're all NFL players" anymore than it is at Washington St., Texas Tech, West Virginia, OU, or any other spread offense bastion.

Bookmark all of those predictions and watch then unfold one by one.

Are you under the impression that in 2018 we somehow completely overhauled our offense?

We've been running the exact same general shotgun/RPO scheme since Kiffin arrived in 2015.

Who the first round picks and order of the picks in the 2020 NFL draft are going to be are not "universal opinions". Don't say stupid shite, and you won't win stupid prizes.
