I am glad Brando is with the new network. I hope they let him call some fball and basketball games. In my opinion, that is his strength.

I've always liked Tim Brando. True enough, he is pro-LSU but he isn't biased about it when he does a broadcast. Unlike many of my fellow Bama fans, I don't think all broadcasters should wave crimson pom poms.

Brando is by no means universally liked here in La. Baton Rouge specifically. Here he is know to play the "don't you know who I am card" at restaurants & bars around town when trying to curry some favor or another. He used that line on a St.Trooper once & almost ended up in jail.As well, he left Shreveport ( north La. )with his tail between his legs yrs ago & most recently was dumped by CBS, so someone in the business knows his character & professional flaws. He is not liked by the LSU athletic dept & has limited to no access there according to a friend in the alumni office.
