Dude you just killed your whole argument. 1 QB threw for 1800 yards in 5 games. 1 QB carried a team that was 7-9 in 2019 to a SB win, in his first season!
Dak is a better fantasy QB than Brady but he can’t hold Brady’s jock when it matters most.

This isnt as simple as that. By signing that contract, they saved about 9 million of a cap hit. If he would have just been franchised he would have been a cap hit over 30 thousand . The way his contract is set up, hes only a cap hit in the low to mid 20s ,I'm pretty sure.
The cap is gonna skyrocket after the next year or two ,whenever the new tv deals hit . I think it's two years from this season.
Daks biggest cap hit is during the same years that the cap will be potentially 30 million higher.
Tl;dr? Jerry jones is playing 3d chess while executives half his age are playing candyland.

These comparisons are dumb because the game has changed a lot. The rules are favored towards the offense now

The biggest thing holding Dak back has been playing for the cowboys.
As much as everyone raves about the offensive weapons, Cooper and Zeke haven’t exactly been carrying the team the past few seasons either. The cowboys just replaced an ineffective coach and it remains to be seen if this new one will pan out. There’s only so much you can do with a bad offensive scheme.

Allen is a dang good QB but your cherry picking his one good year. Check out his body of work. Doesn’t compare to Dak. Dak will get better and better. Don’t know if Allen will ever have as good of a year as he had this year.

Dak had a really good rookie year. Dallas was pretty loaded on OL and Dallas ran the ball really well with Zeke but Dak did a great job of managing games. Since his rookie year he has been somewhere between Average to Good. With Brees and Rivers hanging it up, he's probably a top 8-10 QB this year.
I actually think the next 2 seasons determine his legacy. He has gotten paid. Now he has to prove he can do more than just manage. Anyone writing him off or trying to say he's a top 5 QB is just wrong.

Bull shite he is. Wilson is 100% better then him. Wilson has had some of the worst, if not the worst, OL play in the league for most of the last 5 years. He’s still managed to play really well. Meanwhile Dak, for most of the last 5 years, has had some of the best (if not the best some years) OL play. He’s also had Zeke Elliot who has has made a few All Pro teams to lean on.
