Dak is the man and is getting paid. Well deserved!

1) Different eras (drafted 20 years apart, essentially)
2) Dak was drafted onto a stacked team
3) Peyton was drafted by the worst team in the NFL

Dak is in the top 5 QBs in the NFL

Patrick Mahomes
Aaron Rodgers
Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson
Deshaun Watson
Russell Wilson
Tom Brady
Arguably better:
Matt Stafford
Kyler Murray
Baker Mayfield
Ryan Tannehill

Cowboys fan here. Dak’s teams for last 4 years were way better than Manning’s 1st four

He's in no way clutch. You can rack up all the yards in the word but if you choke at critical moments, you aren't great

Dak is not even close to Watson or Allen.

He is tied for the lead in game winning drives since he entered the league. Please at least know what the frick you are talking about.

The time to win with Dak was before he got paid

He can't do it alone.

The athletic smart ones are the great ones. And heavy on the smarts if you get my drift

The best quarterbacks were for the most part relied on smarts and not just purely athletic ability. Also work ethic that focused on nothing more than the game itself can give a player an edge.
A lot emphasis is put too much on how athletic a player should be but a look into what is going on between the ears.
Some quarterbacks have "it" but others just don't have the mental capacity to be a winner.

Agreed

Lamar Jackson
I don't think these two are necessarily better. Jackson, in particular, has done nothing in the playoffs.

Lamar Jackson
Is absolutely horrible when their run game is shutdown and he’s forced to play QB.

Jackson won an MVP, you think Dak ever will?

I don't think dak is a bad QB or that he is overrated(mainly because literally no one has him rated as ELIte or close to it).
I DO think Dak has always had issues with certain intermediate passes that separates ELIte quarterbacks from Dak.
It's something I noticed while he was at MSU and seemed to have stayed with him at Dallas. There's a pretty large sample size by now of him sailing his midrange passes 15 yards over his receivers head. ELIte qb's hit those passes.
