Geez, get over it. Did you not see the entire interview? Dabo started off his interview talking about the ACC CG and his team. Mid-interview, the reporter asked for his response to Spurrier's statement that "we aren't Clemson." Dabo's first response that he shouldn't be answering that question 2 days before a championship game. Then he goes ahead and answers it. Dabo would be damned by his fan base if he didn't respond in samd way. Again, at the end of the day, Todd Ellis seems to be the culprit here misquoting your coach.

many believe that Dabo has scripted his rant and the question was planted. supposedly, he does pay attention to message boards and knew that his rant would be throwing red meat to the fan base that may be ready to turn on him if they blow the ACCCG to VT.

Exactly. It was too good of a burn and shot to take for it not to have been rehearsed. No way in hell Dabo could think up that stuff on a whim.

Gotta do something to rally the fan base up there in Pickens. They love his rah rah hootin' and hallerin'. Its the reason they made that emotional hire after he beat us in 2008. Looks like its working out well for them. All he did was piss Spurrier off and made Spurrier realize the importance of that game in the state of SC.

Dabo, soaked with rain and gatorade, shook Spurrier's hand with a smirk on his face, then pulled him in for a back pat hug. You could tell Spurrier wasn't having it, and word is that Dabo said something along the lines of "maybe next year coach," or "its an honor to beat you, coach." Pissed Spurrier slap off.

Agreed, except for he didn't dominate as much as Bryant did. Also, some of his jabs were really funny. Haven't been as good lately, though.

They just aren't nearly as funny anymore. Last really funny thing I've heard from him was the thing about Bama scholarships early in his South Carolina days. Lately, it's just been some comment people have paid far less attention to. Probably because he's not winning anymore.
You can't spell Citrus without UT was great, as were many of his older quotes. Lately, it's just not been as funny.
