We had to run over their D to be able to mercy knee them. A lesser team punts the ball back.

Dabo knows that the ACC is an SOS nightmare right out of the gate. Going to take a lot of politicking to keep Clemson relevant this season.

I love it when people try to "take away" something the other team did in order to try to make their own team's failures sting a little bit less. Seeing the head coach do it?

Pretty clear this is a campaign already aimed at the end of the season. He is going to work hard to justify Clemson getting in despite having lost to maybe the only ranked team they play.
I think it works, tbh. I don't mean to sound paranoid, but there are a lot of other conferences extremely hostile to the SEC and will be looking to kneecap the conference at every chance.
Now way a 1 loss Clemson should get in over a 1 loss SEC runner up in the SECCG, but Dabo is already trying to make the case.

Actually, they didn’t have to go for it, there was nearly 4 min left on the clock. UGA would have had that time to go down the field which it was doing running over their secondary.

I mean, he’s focused on his team and their mistakes. He’s not going to get up there to say things that make UGA fans feel better about their win.
