I thought I read somewhere that he said something like, it's embarrassing that the sport can't prevent it, and he doesn't blame the players or coaches for trying to take advantage

Dabo is one of the most successful college football coaches in the sport right now. He has won 2 NC's and been to 4 NC games.
When a man like this speaks, you listen, it's as simple as that. If someone is paying attention, it is easy to notice that approximately zero other head coaches around the nation ever has anything positive to say about Kiffin.
No one likes him because he isn't like them. He is weird and strange and acts odd. Men can sniff out a weirdo.

I wish people would realize nobody gives a flying flip about LSU in any of this, we’re all just concerned about the state of the sport and whether it can survive. LSU being involved is irrelevant to the point.

He did not callout Lane specfically but LSU is one of the main Universities doing it.
CFB has been going downhill for awhile, this may finally call for major changes...but I doubt it will. It will prob be the norm to have NFL players on CFB rosters in a few years.
