When’s the last time a team won the regular season + conference tournament of any of the SEC, ACC, Big 12 or PAC-12 and didn’t host?

Arizona won both and is currently sitting on the 2 line to be sent elsewhere

Not this BS again.

The committee keeps trying to pair up the Aggies and Whorns every chance they get.

We already beat their arse 9-2.

I absolutely do not get the love affair with having Indiana State as a host. But it does set up potential UT-Miss St and UK-Vandy super regionals.

Do not be deceived..no difference between a 2 and a 3 seed...therefore lsu is getting screwed a 2 seed but in a higher seed regional .
Bama a 3 but a better regional..capiche? But only a projection..hopefully committee better sense

Pretty wild Florida isn’t even one of the last 4 in. 28-27, 0-1 in SECT, 13-17 in SEC. I get their SOS argument but that just doesn’t scream comfortably in to me

I definitely don't want to see LSU right now. They are playing lights out at the end of the year when it matters most.

Yeah, it seems like they're using 2 different sets of metrics there, just trying to throw shite at the wall to justify doing things.

Indiana State: 42-13, won the Missouri Valley (22-5). That's a great record, but a shitty conference. They did beat Louisville, UConn, and took a series from Xavier, but lost a series to Southern Miss and got smoked 20-4 by Vandy. And they didn't win their conference tournament.
Seems like all the emphasis is the record with them.

Florida is the total opposite. They have every metric, but the actual win/loss thing is fricking terrible.

I mean, I know we're talking about a host compared to a 3 seed, but I just don't see how you can make both of these decisions

The deal with Indiana State is their RPI is #11. I’ve heard some comments made about how they “tricked the system” to get a higher RPI but I don’t exactly know what is meant by that.

I don’t want any part of LSU baseball, yet. I don’t care if it’s a down year for them for their standards. It’s LSU baseball. Then again, it would be one hell of a win for our program if it happened. Regardless, Norman would be packed with their fans and our fans.

The RPI def has some flaws

Indiana State
#75 SOS
13 losses
3-6 against Q1
7-2 against Q2

#10 RPI

Make it make sense

Florida is about to get fricked though. Which is hilarious. Several bid stealers could happen today.

Oklahoma is 37-19 and didn’t win their conference tournament.

LSU is 40-20 and if they end up winning the tournament for the best league in baseball, they should host instead of the Sooners

1. Mississippi State (16)
2. Southern Miss*
3. Nicholls*
4. Tulane*

Would be the easiest regional of all time

Reminds me of that 21 regional with Virginia Conmonwealth as the 2. They were terrible and went 0-2. The 3 seed Campbell played well though.
