Thats not quite true, as a 3 you might play a much better seed than as a 2 seed. So, you would have a better chance of losing. You are thinking OVERALL, I get that. But seeding is seeding.

...but that project had 2 seed lsu with lower seed ...but all the 3 seeds have to be spread out in the regional 1 to 16 ..some 3s in top 8 other 3s in 9 to 16

In fairness our 2 seeds in 9 to 16 regionals..our 3 seeds vs 1 to 8..rtr anyway
