I know FSU is hot right now... But do we really think they can break their Omaha curse?! I'm not touching it

am I the only one who likes Michigan here?! They have been playing great baseball. Took out the entire Pac-12 basically.

The pitching seems legit. I was impressed with the guys that I saw on the mound.

Agreed. As much as I wanted Arkansas to win, we don't have the pitching we did last year. I wouldn't take FSU because they face Campbell Game 1. But if TT gets by their first game then they'll likely face a freshman that couldnt make 2 innings against Ole Miss.
This. I don’t honestly think Arkansas is going to win this year after seeing our starters this weekend outside of Campbell. Having said that, Florida State having to face Campbell their first game is a tall order and I think they’ll probably have to come out of the losers bracket. IMO Tech is a much better value.

If FSU is going to win it, this is the year to do it.

You could be right, but from an offensive standpoint I think Ole Miss is much tougher top to bottom than anyone on our side of the bracket.

At the odds listed, I think Louisville is a good pick; though facing Vandy in game 1 will be tough.

Not sure what to think of Michigan. I don't put much stock in the PAC 12 so their wins over OSU and UCLA don't impress me regardless of UCLA having the #1 overall.

What teams in the World Series have great Lefties pitching?

We need to avoid them as long as possible.

Personally I think the finals will be Arkansas vs the winner of Vandy/MSU

Me too. I hope we go 3-0 and get to the championship series. Hopefully, either the Dogs or Vandy have at least one loss in order to reach the championship, which means the team from that side that reaches the championship will have gone through more pitching.

I hope the Vandy whistler's also get a-hole cancer.

I’m actually shocked Auburn isn’t lower than Michigan.

We lack a second ace, but have a deep bullpen and good bats. Without a second ace, I'm also skeptical that we'll win it all, but we do have a deep bullpen and good bats, so there's a chance. If we still had Jackson Rutledge, I'd consider us the favorite.

Right now, my money would go on MSU, with Vandy and Louisville next.

Looking forward to the CWS and the US Open this weekend.
If Rocker pitches like the he did in the Dook game, Vandy could win this thing.

Assuming FSU has to beat Arkansas and Vanderbilt/Miss State two times each to win it all, you'd be getting way better than 10:1 just parlaying their ML game by game. You'll probably be getting close to +200 just on their first game with Arkansas. Of course this is out the window if they win 2/3 each time. I'd still pass on 10:1 on a team that needs to win at least 5 games and will likely be an underdog in every single game.

The games are really spread out. Basically a game every other day. A good bullpen can carry you to the finals.

We can't offer the money and education Vandy can.
