Vs. Carson Newman in an exhibtion
Quick Preview from UTSports
With our length, we should be pretty good defensively if we buy in. Offensively, it will get ugly.

Butler lost to a D2 school last night. Think Zona did too a week or so ago.

All five starters were 4*s.
Too bad Pearl was a god awful evaluator. This roster is all Pearl's doing, unfortunately Zo will get the blame.

Who avergaes more points on offense? BB starting 5 or Dooley's offense?

At least both Pearls are gone. Little Pearl was college basketball's version of the power play for your opponents.

Vols win 73 - 52
I only caught a few minutes of the game but they looked alright.. granted it's just Carson Newman.

Probably, I'm not really sure.

I watched the whole thing. Kenney Hall is still Kenny Hall. Not sure how he got a 4th star. Golden looked pretty good and Maymon was a beast on the boards. Team defense and rebounding looked vastly improved, but the offense is very blah. First game though so it's hard to get a good opinion so far.

Really hope UT finishes above .500 this year.
edit: How long before we see the threads saying, "Does Tennessee regret firing Pearl?" like we see with Fulmer?
