This guy has no fricking idea what he’s about to walk into. This is Les Miles 2.0 and he’s about to have his mind blown.

This will be a disaster just like Harsin!

He's not from Seattle. He's about as normal of a guy as one can be.

I've known him through contacts and family for quite a few years. It has zero to do with me being from Missouri. I have family that own a lot of land in South Dakota. Beautiful country and outstanding pheasant hunting. I wouldn't mind moving there myself.

The first thing he needs to do after press conference is go to the Walmart in Selma then Moulton. He should be fine after that.

Switching from Whole Foods to Dollar General will take him some time

You're absolutely right!
The OP is a "famous" pessimist poster on the Alabama board.

I think he’ll do well. Seems like a great coach. There’s a chance it could go the way of Harsin at Auburn though

Furthest south he's coached has been Southern Illinois. Good luck recruiting the dirty south.

He probably has never set foot in Alabama. He doesn’t know the football fan culture, that’s probably why he agreed to take the job.

It’s a good bridge hire….they’ll slide a bit and fire him. Then Lane train comes to town.

Compare Saban's recruiting classes to DeBoer's recruiting classes. That's going to be your difference maker.
