COVID killed State, Aggy and SC. Tennessee, Arky, Ole Miss emerged

Comparing 2016-18 to 2022-23, Tennessee has the most improved athletic department in the nation. Arkansas and Ole Miss are fifth and sixth, respectively. Alabama and LSU are in the top 15.
Conversely, Mississippi State had the third worst decline post-COVID, only beating out Oregon and Penn State. A&M, South Carolina and Mizzou are amongst the worst 10 declines.
So if it appears that Missouri and State are worse off than they were a few years ago, and Tennessee and Ole Miss are on the rise, here is the data to back it up.

Directors cup. Because college tennis and soccer are just as important as sports with packed stadiums and arenas.
I get the school pride thing as our town wins the Texas high school version of that every year, but they’d trade it for one more football win in a second.

Football is averaging 9 wins a year with a NY6 win
Basketball has won the SEC, made 2 sweet 16s and an elite 8
Baseball has won 3 straight regions and made 2 of 3 CWS while winning the SEC and SECT

Everyone with a brain knows John Cohen is the worst AD we ever had. Watching Auburn come to the realization of this has been hilarious. Now they're stuck with leftovers from Mississippi Freeze and Cohen. Enjoy!
