Dude looks to much like Gus Malzahn but I’d take him and his staff over what we have!

No one wanted Cignetti. Crazy world. They thought he was too arrogant. If arrogant means beating Oregon, OSU and destroying Bama, sign me the frick up.

It sounds like he enjoys getting to “build” a program from nothing as his legacy, which makes sense given his age. He could win titles at any of our programs and he still wouldn’t go down as an all time legend given his age. Instead he built the shittiest program in America into a powerhouse.

I’m happy with Kiffin, but man. Anyone needing a coach should be throwing whatever it takes to get him.

If he came here or bama or Texas and won 4 of the next 6 I think he would absolutely go down in the books with the rest. I exclude UGA because they already have that and it would be chocked up to Kirby.

I fully agree every team in need should throw the pirates chest at cignetti.

When do you think LSU is going to pay Lane’s buyout?

With that weak-arse bama team?

Solid take. I think Lane Kiffin will be exciting for LSU for sure. If I was an LSU fan, I would be pretty happy about Kiffin. Despite all the BS posturing, there's no way he's going anywhere else.

Cignetti is already an Indiana Legend.

And rightfully so.

BAMA doesn't have the money to buy him a team every year.

Name one recruit Cignetti has brought to Indiana.

Don’t you ever get tired of this? I can’t even imagine how absolutely miserable you are in real life. You for real don’t have more than 3 people you interact with in real life huh? Fix your life bro. For your own sake.

Now come up with some snarky quip that you think is gonna really hit home.

OK. Who is he recruiting right now?

What he is doing is not sustainable.

I had to look look this up earlier. Cignetti wasn’t available. Indiana had already signed Cignetti on Nov 30. Saban didn’t announce his retirement until Jan 10

Was he not at jmu before? Yall would have never hired him

Lol. He didn’t need good recruits to go no lube on all your 5 stars.

You tend to get recruits attention when you sodomize both OSU and Bama in prime time within a month.

And Indiana isn’t some poor school, they’ll match whatever anyone else throws at him.

He whipped BAMA no doubt. Your focusing on the star average.

Answer this question.

Would you rather have a team with multiple 5 star first year starters or 3 & 4 star starters who have 30+ starts?

Indiana isn't recruiting at a high level. If they do, I'll believe Cignetti can sustain what he's doing. But buying qbs every year isn't going to cut it.

Again, OhioSt won the title with a 23 year old 5th year senior transfer.

This year with an elite-11 winner they lost their only two games vs playoff teams.

You can't buy qbs every year. It isn't sustainable.

My only thing is… I’m not sure how he would handle a bigger program. It seems like at IU the school and boosters let him do whatever he wants because they have no expectations, which allows him to do what he does. I’m not sure he would have the same success with even more resources if they came with restrictions

They are rumored to get Josh Hoover from TCU in the portal, and they had 7 4* defensive commits in 2026. They are a program I would expect to be good, but not this good for the foreseeable future. We will see how the portal goes, but the guy clearly is the best talent evaluator in the country. Hes beat 4 top 10 talent composites with the #72 so far
