PLEASE lord, let Florida fire Sunbelt Billy and hire Dumbo Dabo. Dude is not interested in the least in coaching effectively in the modern era. Would be the best thing to ever happen in Gainesville. Please let this happen!!!

Billy Napier will not be fired until at least through the 2025 season. Opposing fans need to realize he is not on the hot seat. It seems like they have an issue with this regardless of how many times it is conveyed.

His buyout is $64 million. He's not going anywhere.

All joking aside why would he be on the hot seat? Gators are trending in their right direction and recruiting is going great. As a UGA fan I get losing to rivals but I think Gators will be competitive against FSU and losing to UGA, understandably unacceptable as a Florida fan, is also unavoidable at the moment. If what UGA is doing currently is the standard by which coaches are judged on a few are not on the hot seat. Napier seems to have turned the corner.

Florida fans with sense are satisfied with the direction Billy has the program headed
Problem is. We have a lot of idiots in our fanbase

Pretty sure this is a universal problem. You are not alone.

It's not just us with stupid fans. Everyone but UGA fans has idiots screaming on social media right now, and if UGA drops a game or doesn't make the playoffs, they will have a few idiots screaming too.

We have the best recruiting class in the last 10 years at UF. We are one of the youngest teams in P5. All the off the field stuff seems to have improved greatly. And it seems like he will make the coaching changes needed in the offseason.

I don't think any UF fan is especially pleased with how this season is going, but like you said, everyone with sense is ok with the overall direction of the program.

Gators will pass, Napier has us heading in the right direction. Needs to make some coaching staff changes in the off season but making progress recovering from the Mullen disaster. Still way too many 3 stars on the O and D lines.
This is the biggest difference between UF and UG. Depth is the other issue. Gator fans have to be patient.

Really, all it takes is a punt for that to happen.

I'd rather go 0-12 every year with any coach who is not Dabo

If Dabo were coaching anywhere other than Clemson he would have "next South Carolina coach" written all over him.

Maybe A&M? They've proven that they will pay top dollar for an NC-winning coach who is in the process of cratering his program.

Pretty sure the Gators currently have a better ranked class than Bama. Mullen left the cupboard bare but they will improve.

It's almost painful to type but it's the truth.

General consensus was we were going 6-6 or 7-5 this year based on schedule alone.

Losing to UGA was expected, beating UT unexpected. I think in retrospect the Utah and UK losses might have been expected but we probably should have had better showings.

Next year's schedule is tough too but that's going to be a big moment for Napier - he has to show improvement on the field. I think we're set up well, though. We have a young offense really coming into their own, Mertz returns to mentor a hopefully talented frosh, second year with Austin Armstrong at DC.

But at this seat his seat is room temp.

Hell we don't have to lose a game all we gotta do is allow the other team to score and we have fans ready to burn it all down!

I said all it took was the other team scoring but you are right, let a drive stall or even the other team make a good play and the end of the dynasty has begun and Kirby has to go LOL....

I suspect it has something to do with being inundated with commercials during games this season but I can't help but think of the Fansville commercial where they are bent completely out of shape and burning their team stuff when Bosworth reminds them it was the first play of the game....

You'd think an Auburn fan, who is going through a similar rebuild currently, would understand that coaches in these situations usually get 3-4 years minimum, barring some type of epic frick up.

But since you're asking, if any SEC school would hire Dabo, Clemson is often considered as "Auburn with a Lake" so Dabo would culturally make perfect sense on the Plains if Auburn fires Freeze since he's not having a hot first season .
