Hell we don't have to lose a game all we gotta do is allow the other team to score and we have fans ready to burn it all down!

Or a turnover. I live in GA and have a number of UGA fans as friends and some of them are freaking out about the amount of turnovers committed by your offense this season.

But at this seat his seat is room temp.

I believe what could potentially warm his seat up this off-season is if he refuses to change and upgrade certain things: if he continues to be the OC, continues to not have an official ST coordinator, keeps Sale/Stapleton, etc.

Those types of mistakes are what ultimately killed Muschamps, MacElwain, and Mullen (Champ couldn't let go of meddling with the offense, Mac couldn't fire Nussmeier, Mullen couldn't fire Hev & Grantham).

I do think that Napier will make those changes, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't disagree at all. I think we might be a little better than expected. And I am not writing any of the games we have left on the schedule off, even though I know we will be the underdog in 3 of them.

But I am never going to be pleased with 5-3 staring down a 6-6/7-5 season. These kind of seasons suck. But I understand it and I'm not going to be calling for Napier's head about it.

Billy Napier will not be fired until at least through the 2025 season. Opposing fans need to realize he is not on the hot seat. It seems like they have an issue with this regardless of how many times it is conveyed.

I don’t believe Napier is on the hot seat but through 2025 he’s safe? Idk.

There’s a very good chance that Florida finishes 6-6, 7-5 probably AT best.

2024 schedule is bonkers as well:

OOC: Miami, Samford, UCF, and at FSU

SEC: Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, at Texas, Kentucky, A&M, at Miss St, and at Tennessee

Maybe A&M? They've proven that they will pay top dollar for an NC-winning coach who is in the process of cratering his program.

As long as the oil revenue stays up, there will always be boosters that can pay it off.

It's always too soon to say a coach's safety two years down the road in today's CFB landscape.

Look at 2021 when Mel Tucker signed a historic contract at Sparty. Less than two years later, gone.

So it's fair to speculate whether Napier is safe through the 2025 season, but I'd say at worst his seat would simply be hot at the start of 2025 if no significant on-field improvement is shown and at worst he won't be fired until after the 2025 season is over, barring some Brenda Tracy like frick up.

Like I said, 6-6 or 7-5 was the general consensus.

It sure is. But if we're not a better team then his seat may get hot. Even with that schedule, while 6-6 is acceptable this year, it won't be next year. If he had a bad season next year and started poorly in 2025 UF could make a change, but frankly I'd be shocked. I think he's got a 5 year shot at this.

Are coaching buyout clauses the biggest scam since property taxes?
